Our mission
is to support social justice organizations through workplace giving programs and other philanthropic initiatives. Founded in 1984, Community Shares is Cleveland's only workplace giving federation with a focus on social justice and the second largest such fund in the country. We generate essential operating funds for nonprofit organizations that are working for positive community change. Find out more about us.

Two New Organizations Join Community Shares Non-Profit Federation
Greater Cleveland Community Shares announced that the InterReligious Task Force on Central America (IRTF) and InterAct Cleveland have become its newest members. Community Shares is a membership organization of local non-profits dedicated to promoting social justice and making local neighborhoods stronger. Since its founding in 1984, Shares has invested $13 million in Greater Cleveland’s neighborhoods. Read More
